George Cox For Oki-ni Chukka BootGeorge Cox For Oki-ni Chukka Boot

George Cox for oki-ni Chukka Boot

£55.00
Simple yellow suede chukka boots with a grey heel stripe, thick grey plantation crepe sole and simple black lace. ‘When George Hamilton Cox made his first ‘creepers' in 1949 it caused a few raised eyebrows. It's a fad, some people said. It'll never last. Over 50 years later, George Cox are still making creepers. They still use the same Goodyear Welted construction, stitching the welt to the insole through the upper and the lining. The insole is still bedded on a layer of filler, so it moulds to the shape of your foot. And the sole is still made from natural plantation crepe. Small wonder, then, that their creepers bear the British Goodyear Welted Seal of Excellence.'
