Black festival boots with a Swarovski crystal tongue. Made in England. 'The Swarovski crystals embody the ethos of the collection – looking down to your feet and being engulfed and overwhelmed by acid hallucinations. These are 'monkey' boots – so called because they were originally worn by roofers. This hard wearing footwear was worn all year round, evolving from a practical to a fashion shoe as the roofer's girlfriends, too poor to buy their own shoes, would borrow the boots and wear them out on the town.' J.W. Anderson, 2010.
