The Nonnative Student Hooded Taffeta Jacket for spring/summer ’11, seen here in navy and purple. From Tokyo’s Nonnative, this lightweight and technical jacket is loaded with texture and detail. The first thing you notice is the deep and rich colour scheme of dark navy, purple and grey, which is intersected by three gold zips. Proving that this jacket has technical credentials the jacket features complex panelling, mesh sections under the arms for ventilation, and elasticated cuffs and draw-string adjustable hems to keep out the elements. The jacket is a pull-over style and features a central zip and a zip along the entire left side seem to make taking it on and off hassle free.
