The Asics Gel 1150 provides mild support while they workout and high level cushioning. It’s packed with Asics technology: Durasponge - A blown AHAR® rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot. DuoMax Support System – Helps ensure that the shoe maintains proper support for the foot during the critical transition from heel strike to toe-off. SpEVA – Proprietary forefoot material that improves bounce back characteristics and decreases forefoot breakdown. Trusstic – A moulded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe. Gel – A semi solid silicon-based product that is excellent at absorbing and dissipating shock. It’s strategically placed in the forefoot and at the rear, where it reduces the impact that’s transferred through the body when running and enhances propulsion. AHAR+ – ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber is a tough compound used at the heavy contact areas of the outsole. It helps to reduce excessive wear. AHAR+ is a lighter version of the general AHAR.
